FitForge Ultimate ("we," "our," or "us") operates the FitForge Ultimate mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Name, email address, profile photo, and authentication credentials when you create an account or sign in with Google.
• Fitness Data: Workout logs, exercise preferences, personal records, fitness goals, body measurements, and weight entries.
• Nutrition Data: Meal logs, calorie intake, macronutrient tracking, and food scanner results.
• Health Data: Body stats, BMI calculations, and body composition information you choose to enter.
• Community Content: Posts, comments, crew memberships, and social interactions within the app.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version.
• Usage Data: App interaction data, feature usage patterns, session duration, and crash reports.
• Advertising ID: Google Advertising ID for personalized ad delivery (can be reset or opted out in device settings).

2.3 Information from Device Permissions

• Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): Used for the Food Scanner feature to scan meals and for Menu Scanner to scan restaurant menus for instant nutrition information. Camera images are processed on-device and are not stored on our servers.
• Body Sensors (android.permission.BODY_SENSORS): Used to collect fitness data from wearable devices such as heart rate monitoring during workouts.
• Activity Recognition (android.permission.ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION): Used to automatically detect and track physical activities such as walking, running, and step counting.
• Biometric (android.permission.USE_BIOMETRIC): Used for optional app lock and secure authentication. Biometric data never leaves your device.
• Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to send workout reminders, habit streaks, achievement notifications, and motivational alerts.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's fitness tracking features
• Generate AI-powered personalized workout plans and nutrition recommendations
• Track your fitness progress, streaks, habits, and personal records
• Provide AI Coach chat functionality and voice coaching
• Enable community features including crews, challenges, duels, and leaderboards
• Generate your annual Fitness Wrapped summary
• Send relevant notifications and reminders
• Display personalized advertisements to free-tier users
• Process in-app purchases and premium subscriptions
• Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
• Detect and prevent fraud or technical issues

4. Third-Party Services

Our App uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Secure authentication via Firebase Auth and Google Sign-In
• On-device processing for camera-based features (food scanning)

• Community Features: Information you choose to share publicly through posts, crews, and leaderboards is visible to other users.
• Service Providers: Third-party services listed in Section 4 that help us operate the App.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• Safety: To protect the rights, safety, and property of our users and the public.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: View your personal data within the App's profile and settings.
• Correction: Update your profile information at any time.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
• Opt-out of Ads: Upgrade to Premium to remove all advertisements, or reset your Advertising ID in device settings.
• Permissions: Revoke any device permission at any time through your device settings. Some features may not function without certain permissions.
• Notifications: Manage notification preferences in the App settings or device settings.

8. Children's Privacy

FitForge Ultimate is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, for significant changes, through an in-app notification.
